Terms of Use

1. Service

LocalPro ("Service") is an API operated by Laced Labs LLC ("we," "us") that provides local service provider directory data via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. API Access

Access requires an API key. Keys are issued at our discretion and may be revoked for misuse. You may not share, sell, or redistribute your API key. Each key is subject to rate limits as documented at mcp.localpro.dev.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

• Query provider data for use in AI agents, applications, and developer tools
• Display provider information to end users with attribution to LocalPro
• Cache responses locally for reasonable periods (up to 24 hours)

4. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Bulk-scrape or systematically download the entire database
• Redistribute raw data as a competing directory or data product
• Circumvent rate limits or authentication
• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
• Misrepresent LocalPro data as your own original research

5. Data Accuracy

Provider data is sourced from public records, business websites, and third-party APIs. We make reasonable efforts to verify accuracy but do not guarantee completeness or correctness. Data is provided "as is" without warranty.

6. Attribution

When displaying LocalPro data to end users, include a link to the provider's listing_url or a general attribution to LocalPro.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify API key holders of breaking changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Laced Labs LLC is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccurate data, service interruptions, or decisions made based on provider information.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the API response headers or email to registered key holders.
